Review

Chicken Lines is an attractive puzzle game based on the classic match 3 gameplay, that in spite of its childish appearance, can be enjoyed by adults and kids alike. The game is basically a match 3 puzzle with the difference that lines should consist of at least five items. It is very easy to play and has some details that make it really charming and fun. The game objective is very simple: reach the highest score possible. The idea is form lines with five or more chickens, in all directions, that is vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, and make these chickens disappear from the board. To do so you have to click on a chicken, and then click on a target tile. The trick is that every move you make will cause three more chickens to appear, and if you let them fill the board, then the game will be over. So you have to think and calculate carefully every move to make the most of the empty tiles available.
The game interface is very simple, colorful, and offers several options. Besides, the little chickens are really well animated, and each one, apart from a different color, has a distinctive sound. As a plus, the application includes a sort of mini game inspired by Space Invaders but with chickens instead.
Chicken Lines is simple, challenging and addictive, in short, a great pastime. The best of all, it is absolutely free.
